In the biblical Book of Tobit, Archangel Raphael heals Tobit's blindness through a miraculous remedy. Guided by divine instruction, Raphael directs Tobias to capture a fish and extract its gall. Tobias uses the fish’s gall by applying it to Tobit's eyes, resulting in the restoration of Tobit's sight. This act not only cures Tobit's affliction but also highlights Raphael’s role as a compassionate divine healer.

In 1 Enoch 10:16, the one with the greatest crime among "The Watchers" or the Sinner Archangels from the 200 Angels who descended on Mt. Hermon, is the Divine Blacksmith Archangel, the Archangel Azazel. One of his sons is the Primordial Demon Asmodeus. Father and son shared the same fate at the hands of Archangel Raphael because after Archangel Raphael made them taste the "Captivation Binder," they were sent away early from the world of the living.
