And when she came, I said to her: "Tell me, who are you?", but she said to me: "I am called Onoskelis (Ashtaroth who is known as Ishtar), a spirit created …, hiding in the earth. There is a golden cave where I lay down. Yet i have a place that will never be replaced. There are times I choke men with cords; at another time I creep (leach/leech) upon them from the wilderness into their arms, but my most frequent dwelling places are ravine, cave, and cliff. Usually, I often go among men in the form of a woman, especially among those of dark skin (indigenous tribes), for they partake of my star (idolater); they openly worship without secrecy on my star that they do not know that they are hurting themselves, and though they are stirring up my own appetite for their further catastrophe, because they want to give money for tribute (tithes), yet I'll give little moment those who worshiping me a time fairly."
