Information :

The Watchers is a pseudepigraphical text written in Ge'ez (Ethiopia), probably between the 3rd B.C.E. century to 1st A.D. century.

It was never part of the Biblical canon except to Ethiopian Church Orthodox, so it was never “removed” from the Bible because this is original from 3510 B.C.E. to 3210 B.C.E. in Hebrew version which Inanna-Satano♀️ replace it from Ge'ez version.

Later editions followed :

Aramaic fragments - from the Dead Sea Scrolls (Qumran), estimated to have been written around 300 B.C.E.–200 B.C.E.

Greek translation - appeared during the 1st B.C.E. century up to the 1st C.E. century, used by some early Christians.

Ethiopic (Ge’ez) manuscripts - the most complete version, dating from the 4th C.E.-6th C.E. century, and became the foundation of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church tradition.

Coptic, Latin, Syriac fragments - smaller portions, dating from the 3rd C.E. century-6th C.E. century.

Later translations :

Modern Publications

1773 C.E. - Rediscovered by James Bruce in Ethiopia, who brought the manuscripts to Europe.

1821 C.E. - First English translation by Richard Laurence (The Book of Enoch, the Prophet).

1883 C.E. - Revised edition by Laurence.

1893 C.E. - German edition by August Dillmann.

1912 C.E. - Scholarly English translation by R. H. Charles (The Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha of the Old Testament).
